New Year , New ME?

Well things have changed a little this year, unpredictably really. I gave up a community commitment to the local hall because of pressures of family and the stress the two things made on me. But then moved onto other projects. Have returned to an old love of mine, The Shetland Folk Festival and its like I am putting on a hat that I have worn before but feels very comfortable. Old faces and old colleagues that feel like I just worked with them yesterday. So lots of excitement ahead on that front.

I have upped the crafting anti by signing up as a 'Stampin up' demonstrator. I am going to try a few workshops and demonstrate card making techniques and see if people want to buy some of the lovely products. So this is a new project, may last may not, but who knows. Its something I love and so will see if I pass on my enthusiasm on to others.

My boys, husband and family will always come first and so we move on as a unit this year, working to complement each other and make sure we are all fufilling our lives as best we can together.

Why do you start a blog?

Well here I am, I never thought I would get around to doing a blog. What would I find to write about I thought. Having seen all the attractive layouts and the pics folk use to create them I find myself attracted to  that for  a start. Something to do with my web design head . So I will no doubt be a 'tweaker'. But today I have been holed up with my laptop in bed, and that rarely happens. A sick bug has taken its toll and here I have been confined to a whole day in bed away from the kids! Actually to sleep for a day has been bliss and now I am twiddling my thumbs later on, and I think lets play with one of these blogs. Lets give it a whirl. So maybe something constructive may come out of today after all. I might never have found the time to do it otherwise. So maybe its a one off.....or maybe its a watch this space. Why did you start blogging, just because you found the time like me by default or what was the catalyst?
